Overview

From medicines to sustainability, from Taiwan to the world

Green Cross has long been committed to supplying reliable plasma-derived products and medical devices, and this responsibility for sustainable health
extends naturally into our long-term commitment to corporate sustainability.

We build our sustainability strategy on three pillars — Environment, Social and Governance —
and integrate the related commitments and targets into daily operations and long-term decision-making.

Three Pillars

Three sustainability pillars

The Green Cross ESG strategy centres on the three pillars below, applied to every day-to-day decision and external partnership.

Environment

Environmental Stewardship

Energy-efficient lighting and air conditioning, eco-labelled logistics, digitalised processes with electronic approval, and green procurement of office supplies.

Social

Social Responsibility

Safeguarding employee health, gender equality and a diverse workplace, patient education outreach, and support for international manufacturers entering Taiwan.

Governance

Corporate Governance

Transparent board operations, a complete regulatory compliance framework, and clear whistleblowing channels supporting a culture of integrity.

Environment | Environmental Commitments

  • Energy-efficient lighting and air-conditioning equipment in our office spaces
  • Cold-chain pharmaceutical transport handled by eco-label certified logistics providers
  • Progressive digitalisation of internal processes, with paper forms replaced by electronic approval to reduce paper consumption
  • Priority procurement of renewable or eco-labelled office supplies

Social | Social Responsibility

  • Employee health check-ups and group insurance that exceed statutory requirements
  • Strict implementation of gender pay equality and diverse employment policies, excluding any form of discrimination in recruitment and promotion
  • Support for patient education activities and health information outreach
  • Helping partner international manufacturers enter Taiwan, indirectly broadening treatment options and resources for local patients

Governance | Corporate Governance

  • Transparent board operations, with major decisions reviewed and approved by the board in accordance with law and the articles of incorporation
  • A complete regulatory compliance framework, jointly supervised by the Regulatory Affairs and Finance departments
  • Clear whistleblowing and misconduct reporting channels that encourage internal oversight and a culture of integrity
